ACS FleX2: 100 Cans-Per-Minute Automated Canning System

The ACS FleX2 runs at 100 cans per minute, or 250 cases per hour. It is the highest-output system in the Cask range, reaching that speed through two independent parallel lines and 12 filling heads in a single compact footprint.

The ACS FleX2 delivers high-volume output at a fraction of the footprint, cost and lead time of a rotary line, and changes over between can sizes in minutes rather than hours. Its two independent parallel lines also mean production can continue on one side while the other is changed over or serviced — flexibility a single rotary line cannot match.

The FleX2 houses two complete canning lines in one frame, running in parallel. If one line is down for a changeover, clean or service, the other keeps packaging, so you rarely lose all production at once. It is why the FleX2 suits operations that cannot afford full line stoppages.

Minutes, not hours. The ACS FleX2 is engineered so one system handles nearly all can heights, body diameters and end types, and its recipe memory recalls stored fill settings for each product rather than requiring them to be re-dialled.

The ACS FleX2 packages still and carbonated beverages verified to 3.2+ volumes of CO₂, including beer, sours, cider, wine, hard seltzer, RTD cocktails, cold-brew coffee, kombucha, nitro-beers and functional beverages. Food-grade construction and CIP support a wide tolerance of sensitive and specialty products.

Cask customers achieve as low as 15–20 ppb DO pickup. Fill level is controlled by sensor and proprietary foam-creation valves reduce oxygen pickup at the fill, while an inline scale trends can weights to 2g accuracy and auto-rejects out-of-spec cans — keeping product loss under 1%.

Yes. The FleX2 is nitro-doser ready for still beverages and nitro-beers, with a dual-head integrated nitrogen doser available for products that need additional internal can pressure.

The ACS FleX2 has a highly compact footprint of 12' x 3.75' = 45 sqft (3.7m x 1.1m = 4.1 sqm) — a full turnkey high-volume line in a fraction of the space a rotary system requires. Not all atmospheric fillers are built the same. Cask's proprietary fill technology gives you precise control at the filler, allowing you to achieve high carbonation without changing your upstream process. Regardless of filler type, products at very high gas levels lose CO₂ during filling, so true in-can carbonation is often lower than assumed. Cask systems reliably tolerate 3.2+ in-can CO₂, validated through extensive testing with Anton Paar, covering virtually all commercial carbonation levels.
